Sorry for a little bit belated post but I’m having love and hate relationship with my laptop these days! The temperature is dangerously rising in Croatia, and for a very short period of time I managed to wear my, how I like to call it : “OMG, where I parked my yacht ?!” look 🙂
I love the pure simplicity of this look – with only three colors : white, red and navy blue, you can make numerous combinations of navy looks. These looks automatically give you a feeling of summer, nostalgia and old school elegance.
Enjoy!

There is a saying : ” Show me a women who has no navy blue in her wardrobe and I’ll show you a woman who lacks style.”
Navy look was introduced in the world of fashion by Coco Chanel. She loved navy blue and tought that : “Everything and everyone looks good in navy.” Navy blue is more forgiving than black. It stripes better than any other color, and looks both classic and sharp at the same time. It’s flattering for daytime or nighttime.
So we can honestly say that navy look is not only reserved for little kids or your grandmothers – this is an ideal time to embrace it 🙂 !

Our followers at Mimi and Maman sure come from some lovely sunny places. Croatia is looking fabulous! …but the sun has even come out to play in the north of England for a while!!
Thank you girls! I love your blog and your comments mean a lot 🙂 Last couple of days in Croatia are totally rainy and cold so I totally feel like I’m in England, hopefully my navy look will soon get another opportunity to leave my closet ! Kisses!
Your sailor look is so classic with some added fun with your accessories! Love those bold earrings and ring! Your setting is perfect for the look and how cute is that top!

Thank you Rebecca 🙂 This outfit would definitely be incomplete without some statement jewelry, I’m so glad you like it!
And my hometown Split is the biggest yachting harbor in our country so it’s the perfect location for this look :)!
Kisses!
