One of my all time favorite books is “Alice in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll. I got my first copy of this book for my 10th birthday – to this day is one of my favorite birthday presents 🙂 !
“Alice in Wonderland’ is full of quirky characters, each one adding a bit of humor and dimension to the story. When Alice falls down the rabbit hole she enters in magical world of Wonderland where she encounters various talking animals, including Cheshire Cat, Caterpillar, White Rabbit, and one very unusual Queen. The first character she meets is The White Rabbit – he reappears throughout the book and acts as Alice’s guide, which is amusing because he doesn’t seem to know even what time it is 🙂 !
The book is very complex and has a lot of symbolism conveyed through the characters and setting. Lewis Carroll intricately weaves a story using these characters to teach a lesson to children about growing up in an entertaining way. Each character teaches Alice something about life and growing up in a dangerous world.
“Alice in Wonderland” was a huge inspiration in music, movie and fashion industry and also became a source of inspiration to this little post – hope you’ll like it 🙂 !
I was looking through a rabbit hole…
…and fell into a magical world of Wonderland – while wearing my “Koke” tunic dress!
I’m greeted by a wicked smile of Cheshire Cat..
…but we quickly became friends!
I met one very psychodelic Caterpillar 🙂 …
…and then I finally find the White Rabbit who matched the color of his coat with my H&M blue stockings…
…just in time to join him…
..and his friend Mad Hatter in a rather interesting tea party 🙂
I searched this magical twisted world…
…without meeting that over-the-top Queen of Hearts !
With all my Earthly possessions kept in my own handmade “Alice in Wonderland” bag 🙂

Alice in Wonderland has got to be one of the most copied and imitated inspirations since it came out. It deserves its place as a classic
I definitely agree with You Selina! Thank you for commenting 🙂 !
