River Runs Deep

I’m not this elegant anymore 😉 – these pictures were taken month and a half ago at the spring of river Jadro near my hometown Split. Currently I’m much bigger and keeping my pregnancy – my baby is due in two weeks and I still can’t quite believe it!

This particular dress has become my pregnancy favorite and it almost seems I don’t have nothing else to wear – being comfortable above all is my new motto  😀 !

Kisses from hot and sunny Croatia from one very pregnant lady!

Mermaid’s Song

In today’s post I’m so happy and proud to continue the collaboration with fantastic artisan jewelry store located in my hometown Split – “Salt” – and it’s author, Lara.

In last week’s post you could see a stunning colorful necklace named “My Gipsy Soul”, and today you can see my personal favorite – necklace appropriately named “Mermaid’s Song”. I love colors and my wardrobe is always a bit on the epileptic side, but I couldn’t resist the sheer beauty in the simplicity of these three materials: silver, coral and turquoise – materials behind every true sea mermaid.

All the pictures were taken near the hill Marjan in my hometown Split, hope you’ll like them!

Dreams of Asia

In these cold winter days I feel very nostalgic…Thinking about travelling, planes…with people I love…Last autumn I was fortunate enough to spend my honeymoon in two beautiful Asian countries – Thailand and Vietnam.

It was the first time I visited countries outside of Europe, and they were beyond all of my expectations – culture, food, religion, scenery…I loved and absorbed everything. Hopefully, I will have more opportunities to write about them, but being the true fashionista 🙂 :), today I will write about the traditional  Vietnamese outfit – Ao Dai, and two important parts of Thailand income blend into one – Thai silk and fisherman pants.

I bought them both on my visit, and they remind me of the beautiful three weeks I spent there…and hopefully, I will return there soon…

Modern time Elf

Every year during the November and December I get caught up by Lord of the Rings virus :)! These rainy days are perfect for never ending LOTR marathons. That wonderful fantasy world often inspires me for some of my outfits…When I first saw this beautiful embroidered green coat (second hand, thank you E-bay), it instantly reminded me on nature, elves, Rivendell and whole wonderful Tolkien world…
