Grey Matter

If there is one constant pattern in my wardrobe it is definitely my love for colors! But during the cold fall and winter days I just love to play with grey and all of her shades (enter Fifty Shades of Grey joke here 😉 )

She can look sophisticated for work, but also playful at day and mysterious in the evening. She is a great basic color and a must in every fall and winter wardrobe – combinations are endless and don’t have to be plain and boring. I hope you will get some fashion inspiration from today’s look !

Kisses!

Fashion. Art. Medicine. Dee.

Today’s blog post represents the very core of this entire blog: my love for Art and Croatian design combined with my other great love and job – Medicine. I already wrote about one of my favorite Croatian fashion brands, “Herman Design” in  “Made in Croatia” blog post. I’m honored to be a proud owner of one of their printed leather handbags.

On my model I wanted  to combine my profession ( I am a doctor), love for unique handbags, and the motive of Hygieia from the Gustav Klimt’s sadly destroyed “Medicine” painting. Klimt is my favorite painter next to Salvador Dali, Vincent van Gogh and Frida Kahlo.

Hygieia was the daughter of the god of medicine, Asclepius. She was the goddess/personification of health, cleanliness and sanitation.

If you ever visit Split I recommend you to check out the wonderful “Gallery of Fine Arts”, where these pictures were taken.
