These Boots Are Made For Walkin’

Winter has finally arrived in my home town Split, and gave me the perfect reason to pull out of my wardrobe all the wonderful coats and boots which were waiting patiently for their time of the year. It is essential to have nice and quality black boots and black coat in your wardrobe. They are easy to combine for work or casual outings, and can be quickly changed with a simple touch of nice shawl or some statement jewelry.

If you are a regular on this blog it is not to hard for you to notice that I’m in love in everything bright and colorful – Winter time will not stop me in that affection, you can be sure in that 🙂 ! These leather and wool boots by Spanish brand The Art Company are everything I can ask in my Winter boots –  warm, high-quality, comfortable, bright  and unique – I feel so happy while wearing them 🙂

What are yours favorites winter favorites, do tell !

Until the next year, I wish you all happy New Year – 2014 was great, and I can’t wait to meet 2015!

Rock and Roll Star – Part Two

Part two of Rock and Roll Star photo shoot was inspired by two amazing bands – The Doors and their front man, Jim Morrison and young British band, Arctic Monkeys. Hope you’ll enjoy it!

Following text about the bands was written by my friend and fellow blogger Miss Nina at http://idledawdle.wordpress.com/ – do check her blog 🙂 !

Rock and Roll Star – Part One

Inspiration for next two posts has been found in some of my favourite rock bands. My favourite band, Queen, is not in this post, because they will get their own special tribute in the near future 🙂 !

From the very early age I was obsessed with Rock and Roll music, blasting my CDs, mimicking vocals, air-guitaring, and driving my neighbours crazy. I believe every one of us would give their right arm to experience that magic moment when you are on stage in front of your loyal fans who know every single lyric and every chord of your songs.

With this post, thanks to my computer star, Miss Stella, I’m one step nearer to my Rock and Roll dreams!

Equestrians do it better

Today’s outfit came into my head the moment I found this green Zara coat…when I saw it,  it instantly had a certain vibe which involved countryside, rainy and cloudy weather…with a touch of English aristocracy – well I have certainly read a lot of books and watched numerous films with English aristocrats as main characters  to know it!

Equestrian look today isn’t reserved only for professionals – it is quite normal to see horse-riders inspired looks and accessoires in street fashion and on the runways. The look is very elegant, and perfect for cloudy and cold days. The main parts of the look are quality well-tailored coats and jackets, vests, fitted trousers, and high leather boots – I can bet that almost every girl has some variation of this look. Maybe in our everyday outings we don’t wear high hats, veils and whips, which were a common part of this look in the early 20th century, but equestrian look and its variations will definitely never go out of fashion!
