The Sky Above

I’m a big fan of printed T-shirts, and I truly don’t know how many of them is thereΒ  in my collection, but this newest addition just took my breath away – even pictures with high resolution camera don’t do justice to this beautiful skyline themed print.

It was such a boring rainy winter day when I got this T-shirt, and it instantly gave me an idea for the look of this blog post – sea and the sky, clash of blue and white, first hint of Summer days which are just behind the corner.

All the pictures were taken in my beautiful hometown Split, true heaven on Earth for those of us who know how to appreciate it.

Urban Bohemian

I considered naming this post “Back on the Crime Scene” because all the pictures were taken in front of my good old Medical Faculty in Split!

My whole look was gradually built around this brown fedora hat by Bershka. He was featured in one of my first blog posts, “For the Love of Tartan”, and inexcusably neglected ever since. These last days in Split are really freezing (for Mediterranean standards of course πŸ˜‰ ), so I often ended up wearing him combined with my extremely warm brow Desigual coat.

He perfectly protects my ears from freezing and falling of, but also provides great fashion statement!

Do you own fedora or some kind of wide – brimmed hat, do tell !

Have a great weekend, kisses from Miss Dee πŸ™‚

What about that Bag ?

I usually do my photo shoots during the weekend – that is the only time of the week when my dear photographer Stela and I have enough time to meet up and take the pictures. Of course, nice weather is always a plus in our blogger escapades! This weekend I got sick with a stomach flu and all our plans had to be postponed. Because of that I decided to realize an idea I had for a while – make a collage of all of my handbags, shoes and jewelry that I wore in former blog posts – today I started with my favorites – the bags πŸ™‚ !

I’m really happy that among my handbag collection is a large number of handmade products and that some of them have found their new owners. But one thing is for sure – you won’t find one quite “normal” model among this collection!

How many bags do you have, and what are your favorites in my collection?

Kisses from sickly Miss Dee :* !

Diamonds and Backpacks

In today’s post, besides my outfit of course πŸ˜‰ , I wanna show you my latest little project! I’ve been sewing bags for a full year now, and the new skill I’ve learned was the perfect move for the handbag lover as myself.

I often end up with back pain form wearing my classical, always full, shoulders bags and I found it hard to find that one perfect backpack. Because of that I decided to make it myself! This backpack can be rearranged, and transformed to shoulder bag and messenger bag – who would have thought I would become practical in my 30s πŸ™‚ ?!

Diamonds themed dress, big statement necklace, my favorite Catwoman and I’m ready to go !

She is so….. Desigual

My dear visitor – If you just occasionally check this blog, or even better, if you know me and often meet me on the streets of my hometown Split, you have learn by now one fact – I love colorful, quirky clothes and I adore Spanish fashion brand Desigual.

I first saw Desigual clothing item – a coat – maybe six or seven years ago on my faculty colleague, and I found out she bought it in Barcelona. I was literally stunned by the beauty of that coat – and was hooked forever πŸ™‚ !

In those days it wasn’t easy to find Desigual in Croatia, but my faithful friend E-bay was quick to help, and my collection started to grow. To this day it remains my favorite fashion brand because represents everything I love in fashion : bold colors and patterns, amazing materials, and cut that emphasizes female curves and figure.

Desigual was founded in 1984., the year of my birth, and the Spanish word desigual translates as : different, unequal….Something I can easily relate to… Coincidence? I don’t think so πŸ˜‰ !
