What about that Bag ?

I usually do my photo shoots during the weekend – that is the only time of the week when my dear photographer Stela and I have enough time to meet up and take the pictures. Of course, nice weather is always a plus in our blogger escapades! This weekend I got sick with a stomach flu and all our plans had to be postponed. Because of that I decided to realize an idea I had for a while – make a collage of all of my handbags, shoes and jewelry that I wore in former blog posts – today I started with my favorites – the bags 🙂 !

I’m really happy that among my handbag collection is a large number of handmade products and that some of them have found their new owners. But one thing is for sure – you won’t find one quite “normal” model among this collection!

Diamonds and Backpacks

In today’s post, besides my outfit of course 😉 , I wanna show you my latest little project! I’ve been sewing bags for a full year now, and the new skill I’ve learned was the perfect move for the handbag lover as myself.

I often end up with back pain form wearing my classical, always full, shoulders bags and I found it hard to find that one perfect backpack. Because of that I decided to make it myself! This backpack can be rearranged, and transformed to shoulder bag and messenger bag – who would have thought I would become practical in my 30s 🙂 ?!

Diamonds themed dress, big statement necklace, my favorite Catwoman and I’m ready to go !

The night crept over the Gotham City calmly like a silken scarf. From the distance, rhythmical clacking of the city subway echoes, blended between the sounds of police sirens, chaos of the traffic jams and barks of strayed dogs. Fumes of the factories, the smog, the waste and the thick led sky. This, is my city; this is my jungle. For all of you who might not know, the name is Selina… Selina Kyle. Who am I actually? Perhaps you caught a glimpse of me in your wildest fantasies… and your most hidden fears. Because this is my jungle. And in that jungle, I am the meanest cat of them all. I am – the Catwoman; hear me roar!

The Gloved One

Honore de Balzac once said: „Woman is the most charming creature, who changes her heart as easily as she does her gloves.”

There is something rather special in gloves. We often carry handbags, and wear shoes, belts and even hats, but gloves…not so much. Gloves had a huge role in fashion and in development of man kind, but they have always been a bit special. Firstly worn for protection in cold winter days, later they developed into a status symbol. I would give anything to live in the days when it was perfectly normal to wear gloves to the theatre, parties, dinners…even just walking around town. So these days cold weather is the perfect excuse to let my glove collection do all the talking! These black and red leather gloves are the first pair of gloves I have ever bought…they protect my hands of course, but with them I feel elegant, special and a bit devilish all at the same time :).
