My maternity leave is still on, but there’s no need to worry, there are many new blog post ideas in this crazy head of mine 🙂 ! Until then, enjoy this new excellent blog post by Miss Stela and Miss Ivna 🙂 !
Kissess, Dina aka Miss Dee!
Well, fall is most certantly here. Yet, one of the most enchanting parts of early fall, at least here on the Mediterranean, is the fact that the sea is still hot enough to go swimming. Tell us, what could be better than having coffee in the city center and then enjoying an outing to the beach?
You have to dresses in style, and nothing is better suited for these “last days of the summer wine” as a breezy, simple white lace dress! Let’s take a look at what Ivna wore and how!
Again, this is Stela, Miss Dee’s loyal friend/photographer. While Miss Dee is on maternity leave, me and our friend, Ivna, will try to fill the gap as best as we can. This is our first post, so bear with us, we have some big shoes to fill… Well, here it goes! Continue reading →
No, it’s not Miss Dee, but rather her loyal photographer/friend Stela. I’ll start the post of a happy note and say that Miss Dee and her hubby became proud parents of a gorgeous baby girl on August 18th, 2015! Congratulations Miss Dee!
I’m not this elegant anymore 😉 – these pictures were taken month and a half ago at the spring of river Jadro near my hometown Split. Currently I’m much bigger and keeping my pregnancy – my baby is due in two weeks and I still can’t quite believe it!
This particular dress has become my pregnancy favorite and it almost seems I don’t have nothing else to wear – being comfortable above all is my new motto 😀 !
Kisses from hot and sunny Croatia from one very pregnant lady!
My pregnancy and this unbelievable heat wave have taken the best of me, but after a month long hiatus from blogosphere it is finally time for new blog post 🙂 !
Today’s post will feature something exciting and new that happened in our hometown last month – SPLIT 3D STREET ART FESTIVAL!
I would have been a shame not to use the art created by the wonderfully talented young street artists and try and combine it with an equally “urban” outfit.
…and in their own words:
“SPLIT 3D Street Art Festival is a non-profit event where artists draw 3D images with chalk on the sidewalk. This peculiar way of drawing is known as the “one-point view” because the full visual impression is obtained only from a certain angle. It originated from the tradition of “Madonara”, artist of sacred images in Italy. Bard of the modern variants of artists is Kurt Wenner.
SPLIT 3D STREET ART FESTIVAL 2015 in it’s first year of organization, devoted exclusively for promoting anamorfism, the art of the 21st century, with the goal of educating young artists from Split and with a mission to become a traditional festival as the best promoter of Split, Dalmatia.”
Hope you’ll enjoy the pictures, kisses from Split!
In today’s post I’m so happy and proud to continue the collaboration with fantastic artisan jewelry store located in my hometown Split – “Salt” – and it’s author, Lara.
In last week’s post you could see a stunning colorful necklace named “My Gipsy Soul”, and today you can see my personal favorite – necklace appropriately named “Mermaid’s Song”. I love colors and my wardrobe is always a bit on the epileptic side, but I couldn’t resist the sheer beauty in the simplicity of these three materials: silver, coral and turquoise – materials behind every true sea mermaid.
All the pictures were taken near the hill Marjan in my hometown Split, hope you’ll like them!
I’m always happy and proud to wear jewelry and clothing with a story behind them. In my life I try to find items that tell me something…and when I do find those kind of items and with them their creators…well the feeling is fantastic!
Recently in my hometown Split, thanks to my dear friend Gorana who works there, I discovered a beautiful jewelry store named “Salt” – and trust me, jewelry in that store really “speaks to me”!
The story behind today’s necklace is told by it’s creator Lara, and I hope you will like it 🙂
